| Spain Ranked Top! Spain has been ranked the Best Place to live in Europe, according to uSwitch.com Quality of Life Index. In contrast, the UK and Ireland have been ranked much lower. Comparisons have been made with wages, fuel costs, working hours, holiday entitlement, quality of healthcare, education and life expectancy. Unsurprisingly, Britain received 80% less sunshine than Spain. Despite earning less income than other countries, all other factors considered Spain received the highest ranking in Europe to live.. | Culture along the Costa Blanca The new Cultural programme for the autumn period has now been officially released and will consist of 41 music concerts, 14 workshops, 8 theatrical works, 6 exhibitions and 3 dance performances among the many events planned. "Mama Mia" will be coming the Municipal Theatre in December and the concert by popular pop singer ¨Miguel Rios¨ will be coming to Torrevieja on December 4th. There will be many workshops for teaching painting, photography, guitar and piano playing and learning to dance the Salsa and Tango. What better time to visit the Costa Blanca... 5th October, 2009 |
